Irradiate is an act that’s climbing up the ranks faster than light! With his big debut only two years ago, Rick and Loek have worked hard to create back-to-back hits and a catchy sound that strikes a note right between extreme Uptempo and mainstream hardcore.
And hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. We’re thrilled to welcome Irradiate as the newest signing on the Masters of Hardcore label. Kicking off the next chapter of his career, Irradiate’s first release ‘Endless Sacrifice’ with Livid will be out at the end of May, followed by debut album ‘Legacy of Blood’ at the end of the year.

Hey Irradiate, how are you doing?
I’m fine thanks! Pretty excited for all the stuff that is happening at the moment.
A very warm welcome to you as our newest signing! How does it feel to have signed to Masters of Hardcore?
Thanks a lot. Masters of Hardcore was our dream since we started the Irradiate project. It is really nice to see this dream come true. It’s a huge honor to be part of the brand and label.
Can you share your journey to how you started Irradiate and eventually reached the Masters label?
About 3 years ago Loek and I met each other and found our shared passion and taste in music. From there we started to work together and made our way up in the Hardcore scene.
First we started our journey at Triple Six, where we released our first tracks (big shout out to DRS for believing in us from the start).
We developed our style a lot the past years and started working on our first album. After the big success of “Warriors” in the MOH Top 100 we had the chance to talk with the Masters of Hardcore label and show them our album.
And the rest is history. 😉
What does it mean to be a part of the MOH family?
As a kid, I found my passion for the harder styles in music early in life. It’s really a dream come true to join the team of artists I’ve always looked up to.
For us Masters of Hardcore is the goal we always had and now we’re a part of the team we hope to bring a fresh sound to the scene.
Can you describe the Irradiate sound?
We both loved the hardness in the drops when we were visiting extreme/uptempo hardcore stages, but also the magical feeling and melody in the breaks at the Hardcore stage. So we tried to take the best of both worlds and combine this to a new sound.
Can you speak a bit about your first release ‘Endless Sacrifice’ with MC Livid?
For us both, this is our favorite track of the album. We tried to create the ultimate summer festival hardcore track. Loek came up with the melody which we both instantly loved. From there we were thinking about which MC would best fit the track and we decided that Livid would be the best to complete it! After only 20 seconds of hearing the track he already said yes and instantly came up with a theme.
We are very excited to hear what all the hardcore fans think of ‘Endless Sacrifice’.
You also recently started a vlog series. Can you share more about it?
We decided to do a vlog series because we really wanted to show everyone more than only music. In the vlog series we tell you more about Irradiate, the upcoming album and show you some of the featuring artists. So basically the series tells a story behind the tracks and gives you a look behind the scenes.
What future productions can we expect from Irradiate?
As you know we’ve just announced the first album, “Legacy of Blood”, which we will release at the end of this year. Until then we will release one track every month. The first release will be ‘Endless Sacrifice’ which is coming for you at the end of May!
